How It Works
The ShapeScale platform rotates 360° around the user while emitting structured light patterns. A high-resolution camera captures the reflected light pattern, and computer vision algorithms reconstruct a precise 3D mesh of the body's surface. Body composition metrics are derived from this mesh using validated algorithms trained on population data correlated with DEXA (the gold standard for body composition measurement).
